    Pasadena Showcase House 2024

     

    The 2024 Pasadena Showcase House of Design transformed the historic Potter Daniels Manor (a 1902 English Tudor Revival estate) overlooking the Arroyo Seco. The iconic property—which previously hosted the showcase in 1975 and 1996—featured over 30 reimagined interior spaces and sprawling gardens designed by top local designers.

     

    Highlights of the 2024 event featured in publications like Architectural Digest included:

     

    • The Romantic Chambers: A nature-lush bedroom draped in exotic jewel tones, antique furnishings, and butterfly motifs.
    • The Sunroom: Transformed by Billman Designs into a colorful jewel-box featuring classic William Morris rose drapery and gold metallic accents.
    • The Library Lounge & Curiosity Room: A whimsical space brimming with board games and a custom chessboard featuring unique pieces like doorknobs.
    • Foyer of Enchantment: An airy, nature-inspired entrance welcoming guests with whimsical golden birds and a fairy-tale atmosphere.
    • Potter’s Culinary Garden: Expansive outdoor spaces emphasizing sustainable water features, native California plants, and views of the surrounding Arroyo Seco.

    About the organization:

    An all-volunteer organization, Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts (Pasadena Showcase) is a non-profit California Corporation whose members donate their time and talents to present three annual Music Programs, administer a large Gifts & Grants program and accomplish the formidable feat of producing the Pasadena Showcase House of Design as their annual fundraiser. Pasadena Showcase supports a diversity of programs including musical theater, orchestra, jazz ensembles, marching bands and choral groups at local schools.
