AIA23 Conference on Architecture & Design
Major Highlights:
The 2023 AIA Conference on Architecture (A’23) was held in San Francisco. The event took place at the Moscone Center and brought together over 14,000 architecture and design professionals for workshops, project tours, networking events, and the Architecture Expo.
- Exhibitors: Over 500 building product manufacturers and new brands showcased their latest services, software, and innovative products.
- Keynote Speakers: Notable headliners included Walt Disney Imagineering president Barbara Bouza, GSA Administrator Robin Carnahan, and former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
- Special Events: The Architecture Expo featured a lively “Block Party” on the expo floor on June 8, offering live entertainment, food, and interactive hotspots.
- Educational Tours: Attendees participated in specialized architecture and city tours, including Frank Lloyd Wright’s Marin Civic Center and the Central Subway extension.
